I was browsing Youtube yesterday (a good way to delete part of a bad day) and I ran across a very little known and heard song of Gene Vincent's. While listening to it, I remembered P.J. and John's previous comments and thought I'd do something a little different this time.

This first song is the song that Gene was most FAMOUS for and one got beat to death (aka John) on the radio and jukeboxes, however, the second one is the little known but "very well done" IMHO from one of his albums.

Keep this idea going if you wanna. Enjoy, Em

W.R.

Here's a great Rockabilly artist that died very young!!!

Eddy Cochran and Gene Vincent Both in same car accident All four people in the car were injured. Gene Vincent broke a few ribs, his collarbone and suffered a leg injury. Sharon Sheeley Eddies girl friend broke her pelvis. Eddie was thrown through the windscreen and suffered severe head injuries. He was rushed to St. Martin's Hospital, in Bath. He was brought in the emergency entrance, and he died there, that afternoon.

Well, since you asked even tho the harp was sync'nd and there should have only been one vocalist - - - - the METER of J.R.s is the BOSS and it really gives you a moving down the road feeling - - - very good song and I give it an 8. P.J.s offering was way too fast IMHO that is

Hope both of Y'alls worlds are good this morning.
Em

P.J. since I'm older than dirt, it's not hard to believe that I can remember hearing that news on the radio headed to college one morning. Sad indeed but it didn't crush me like Feb 3 '59 did. I guess that Buddy and Jape dying hit pretty close to home for a Texas rocker.
