The outlaws are disappearing and every one sounds the same now! Coe was kind of blackballed in my opinion radio tv etc his conserts were great! Its funny the other entertainers excepted him and even praised him but society ignored him! His song "long haired red neck" points it out!!!

You know I haven't seen him for 20 years and when I looked him up on u tube I was knocked to the floor and had to look in the mirror to see how the years have gnawed at us! I think Ill trim my beard and cut my pony tail a little shorter (they get caught in my creeper wheels anyway LOL)

Real talent begins at 49 seconds.
They don't record them like this any more !

My alltime favorite group.
I wore out my Doors vinyl records, bought another set, then a set of cassettes, then CDs which are all on my iPod.
Got a bunch of Doors books as well.

Morrison had that "carisma" that made them really marketable.
I'll bet you were a Joachim Fritz Krauledat fan also, weren't you?

Never really caught my attention as much as the Doors.

I was really pissed at Morrison when I heard he had died,
there were two wake up calls, Hendrix and Joplin, and he
continued on with the drugs and booze.
That crap donīt make you a poet Jim.

On my way to work I picked up other guys on the way, when the
hippie jumped in the back he said, "Have you heard the latest to come out of
America, Morrisonīs dead ?"
I still donīt know how he had that info before the rest of Europe.

Hendrix is also a great favorite of mine, especially his Electric Ladyland.
Here we had the cover with all the "nekkid" women on it........do a picture search.

If your like my daughter and grand kids (they crank up the volume till their ears tickle) And I cant hear My open headers in my yard setting in the car!!!! By the time your 60 you wont listen to anything you'll be deff LOL

I always liked Morrisons uncensored version of "Gloria" And all the Doors other works They were great! But Hendricks I never liked but Joplin had a voice and style that was spell binding ! another group I liked was "Twisted Sister"

Spike Jones!! it was great to see that I had that record! I never new there was a video! and listening to some of this other music is opening new venues at my age! This thread is great!

They were best known for "Dixie Chicken" which Garth Brooks did a cover on several years later and probably made 10x the money they did. LOL
