Good music, Em. I have XM radio, I listen to 2 stations almost exclusively, Deep Tracks and Bluesville. Deep Tracks has music I have never heard, living in Minnesota's great north, we didn't get a lot of the "hippie" music. Some I had forgotten, great stuff. I would like to play some for the younger set, I think it would blow their minds that it was performed 40 years ago.
Blues= John Lee Hooker, my favorite of all. There is another genre of music I am learning at the ripe old age of going to be 60 in a few days, I just never was exposed to it as a youngster but enjoying it so much now. Here's a great one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2mh...eature=related this one gave me shivers.

Your wooden nickels are on their way - - - yeah right !
Jerry was an appreciator of almost all kinds of music and I am told he could hold his own on the 5 string banjo too. |

Here's one for you blues guys. I heard a song the other day, I think it might have been B.B. King and a gal, singing about having bacon and pancakes for breakfast but then nothin for Sunday morning but they still have each other, something like that. A kick butt song, I've been searching YouTube and google for hours, help me out please.

I've been browsing for an hour and I haven't come up with anything either, Dan. I did pass it on to some of my "blues experts/friends" to see if they had anything to offer.
Here's a little Susan to end Daylight Savings Time with. |

I think The female singer was Koko Taylor. I can't remember the song title either .The only reason I still subscribe to Sirius Radio is for BB King's station. That's my shop music. I love the Blues! BB |

Manowar is so awesome. The lyrics are pure cheese, but that's why I love them. David Allen Coe was mentioned a while back. I grew up listening to him, good artist although not a huge fan of his more "questionable" stuff.
