Music through the age groups

I know we have done the songs to cruise by thing, but what about the music by age group, there are many members here, aged from 14 to late 60's. So what have been your favourite bands/groups/singers/ the ones that have stood out over the years.
I remember the punk rock stage, and I still listen to some of it, Johnny Rotten etc. the heavy metal era, the Queen era, the alternative music our parents hated era. Reggae, the good stuff, I also still like J Croce, R Whittaker and J Denvor, but also like Def Leppard, Metallica and Guns and Roses, there again, I also like female vocals, Celine Dion, Joan Baez, Tracy Chapman, 4 non blondes, Cher, Joan Armatrading, Pat Benator, and Dolly Parton.
Eddie Grant and Bob Marley were the best of reggae, to me at least.

What about the rest of you, don't be shy, you may be surprised at who else enjoys the type of music you enjoy. There is no award for listening to the kewlest musis...............
