does anyone know of any common problems with the 1990 mustang GT hatchback that i should look out for? i am contemplating buying one and i would like to know what to look for before i buy it. thanks

fox body mustang are great and fun cars. I have owned maney. You should look rotted floor pans, body panel alingment for chasie figtique. They are not the strongest cars in the world and NEED sub frame conectors. If it has a five speed be shure that it shifts smooth.

First and foremost you have the stigma to deal with!!! People will laugh and point and look away as you drive by. It attracts eggs and mud and it a F-O-R-D. Other wise they are really GREAT cars and you will love it!!! I hope you ALL know I was kidding, right??

Did you see the article in this months Car Craft where they took a 2003 Mustang Cobra, 390 hp stock, added $2,500 worth of bolt-ons and got 500+ rwhp and 500+ ft-lbs of torque.
Now that is impressive. |
