mustang help

I have a 1966 mustang with a straight 6 that i'am trying to make a V8 5 LUG. I took the front and back suspension off a 67 mustang ever thing went good except the inner tie rod is to long. Does anyone know any tricks?

You will most likely need 65/66 inners (and possibly center drag link) (V8 and correct steering type) as the 67 was wider than the 65/66.

You will need the center drag link and the 66 tie rods but you may run into some problems matching it to the 67 idler arm if you are trying to use that. If you can locate the right center link and tie rods for the 66 make SURE your idler is the right one.
