Mustang II Control Arms - Removing Bushings PICS

Hello All,

I am in the midst of powder coating my control arms from a TCI Mustang II kit. I would like to remove the (urethane?) bushings to prevent them from deforming in the oven when curing. Any thought how these are removed?

Thanks....

they are pressed in and out. I used a bottle jack on mine as a press...But i sure wouldnt do that to those nice a-arms you got tho... I would take them to your machineshop and have em pressed out...1 more do it yourself option is get a ball joint press...looks like this...

Your 1st pic didnt show for me when i checked the topic (i seen it when after i posted), my reply is for the balljoints, not the bushings for the shaft... still have em presed out by a machineshop safe and easiest way.
Good luck to ya.
