All need some work before they are installed as they are just mass produced stuff that 10 out of 50 kits ever get used. Like a lot of rod parts. Most never every see the road.
I beg to differ. Heidts has the best quality kits I've ever seen. Neither of the installations I have done required any modification to the Heidts parts whatsoever and they fit perfectly. I do agree that the chubby guy's stuff is substandard though.
