Mustang II pressure regulator

I'm wondering if anyone has installed the Heidt's adjustable power steering regulator valve on their cars which have a Mustang II power rack and a stock SBC power steering pump? How hard is it to install? and did it make a big difference?

I currently have a stock Mustang II power rack and a SBC stock power steering pump. It steers like it is on ice all the time, especially at speeds in town. Several years ago I purchased a pressure reduction valve from R&B's and installed it in the Chevy pump. It helped a little, but the Heidt's unit sounds like what I need since it is adjustable, and it compensates for pulley speeds and pressures as engine rpms increase.

Appreciate any comments on the Heidt's unit if you have used it.

power steering

I dont have any first hand knowledge about the piece you mentioned. However, most people are using the late T-Bird Power steering racks to get away from the touching Mustang 2 unit.
