Mustang II rear brake plumbing

Sorry for the ignorant newbie question.

My middle son has an old kit car sitting on a Mustang II suspension - front and rear. While removing the rear brake lines to put in new wheel cylinders, we got too aggressive with the old hard line. I can find the flex line online, but am having trouble finding the hard line. We wandered into our parts store with the old hard line in hand and got no-where.

So - what do I need to order for rear brake lines for a '78 Mustang II rear end? If the part is not in stock - what should fit as far as length and end fittings? I can measure length myself - but don't know what size fittings I'll need for the junction on one end of the line and the wheel cylinder on the other.

(we got a transmission leak fixed. We hopefully have the fuel delivery issues fixed. I want to get the brakes addressed so we can driveway drive the car)

We're wandering off to a different parts store with a car guy and lots of old parts books. Hoping for better luck!

The line(s) will have to be fabricated from bulk tubing. You can also buy differing length sections flared with fittings.

I'll measure the lengths and pick up pre-made tube in the closest length. I struck out going to a parts counter and doing the manual look-up - so will pull the one good line (so I know the fittings sizes). You don't want to see the flares I've done! I need to back away from my flaring tool when it comes to brakes.
