Mustang II rear-end ratio
Need numerically higher ratio for better take-off with my TurboStude http://cancermn.net/TS/TURBO.html
It has a Mustang II rear-end. It has a 3.40:1 now. Any other vehicles share this rear-end which might have something like a 4.10:1 ? Thanks Greg

are you sure you want to as low as 4:10???
i'd rethink that unless your never going to drive on the the thruway and you want to pick the front wheels off the ground from stoplight to stoplight  consider maybe going half way between what you have now and the 4:10 bomo

The reason I want such a numerically high ratio is that it has an overdrive transmission. They originally came with a 4.56:1 so I figure that with somewhat bigger tires and twice the HP from the stock motor I'll be in the ballpark. At this point, it will cruise faster than I should be cruising a 52 year old car without better brakes up front, but has been pretty hard on the clutch getting going when I "stomp" it..... A turbo needs some rpm to really let loose. I'm running up to 15# boost on this 169" flathead 6 which is coming on at about 2000rpm and peaking at about 4500rpm. The car weighs about 2850#.
