mustang II type kit buyer advise.

Hi all, just new here and I'm starting a new project. (1969 mustang) and I'm working on a plan of what I want to do and how to get there. If you look at my post and project juarnal you can see more. But I want to put in mustang II type front supenstion and 4 link rear on a rebuilt 9 inch rear end with subframe conectors pushed by a 351w stroker hopfully 500+ with a strong bottom end to be able to add power adder later. I have been shopping around on mustang II supenstion kits and have seen alot of pros and cons on mfg. of kits like Heidts, Fat man, Helix, RC Motorsports, and Total Cost Involved. Who, what, where and why do any of you recomend? thanks for any advise!

I'll show some of my ignorance here. I think there are kits made to convert your front end to rack and pinion with upgraded upper and lower control arm and brake up grades but don't think this is a MII kit. I have seen the RC Motorsports kit installed and it is impressive. The owner is impressed too, since he has track tested it before and after. I have observed the Fatmans development of a kit and his should work fine but may not be as good a looker as others.

Trees,

Thanks for the insight. Didn't you have some problems with your fat man install? I read part of your thread but had not got all the way threw it, how did it come out in the end? Are you still happy with them? It sounded like alot of people where giving him greef about how he was doing thing?
