Mustnag II rack and pinion

Will a ford mustang II Rack And Pinion work with my El camino? (66) I will have to get numbers off the rack and pinion, but one was given to me, looks like its in good condition.. Is there any kits availbale? or any mods ineed to do? or is not practical to use?

Also this rack and pinion has an electircal connector on it. what do these do neccessary? do i need some kind of comp to control it?

Sure it can be made to work, but how proficient are you at making the extensive modifications required to the front cross member?

We put a MII rack on a 69 C10 pick up, so it can be done. But like he said, are you capable?
