Sounds nice by description.
But, I'd caution against spending that kinda dough without checking the "facts" so to speak Did you view the car on a lift? Any rust issues? Do you have available documentation on the parts, receipts, manuals, warranty cards etc? Who built the motor? Can you talk to them about what was done to verify? How's the suspension, brakes? |

15k could be deal, I too would be very cautious about rust.

Sounds pretty cool on the surface....but I'm with the others.....do some homework. Those roller rockers...are they steel? Don't know how long I'd trust some aluminum ones in a driver.
Deal with the issues (if any) and you should have a neat little piece. |

Thanks for the replys, The car has been put together professionally and i know the owner very well. He has spent alot of money on building it but is in a pinch right now. A few other things: Disc brakes, Brand new mettallic gray paint w/blue and white tip ghost flames, No rust issues. I did notice 2 small oil droplets on my garage floor (i had it for a few days to check it out) after it being there for 2 days. Anything to worry about on that? Underside is pretty clean other than a little dirt here and there. Brand new 17" chrome wheels and tires. Kyb shocks in front, air shocks in back. Interior was just redone (including the trunk) by a pro. I have asked others in our hotrodder circle about the car and they all say he spent alot of money on it. Thanks for any other replies!

Pop the trunk and look at the insides of the quarters to see if it was skinned. check the rear frame rails for soft spots and feel inside the wheel lips. Sounds like a very good deal... there is no way you could build it for that price. Make sure you post some pics!!!!

I appreciate your thoughts and i'll post pics as soon as i can. I am excited about the car, it really is a nice one. Oh.... and i am the first in line to buy it. The owner and i are good friends and he promised it to me.
