In 1964 Andy's next to Gotelli's Speed Shop was "Happening" in So. S. F. After going on Andy's Pismo Beach Run, I met the famous Rod painter across the bay and got my T painted. I drove my T to Nampa, Ida. I lived in S.F and would drive it in 65' inGolden Gate park where Hippies thought I was a spaceship from Outer Space. What a trip I was on. Blessings from Nick Moorhatch.

Nicky, welcome, post this over in the Hotrodders lounge. That is the place for such great conversation and above all, post some photos of those times, I know I would love to see them. Someone I know, Jim Gomes was a big part of that scene in those days, maybe you know of him, he was in the club "Nor Cal Early Iron".

Thought you might like this pic of Nick. It was taken in San Carlos. He was taking a test ride. I was doing the final assembly on his 'T' to get ready for the Oakland Roadster Show. Pics of the car at the show are in my album on this site.

Oh heck yeah, I love seeing those old photos. This time in particular really brings back good memories. I as a growing boy would see these cars parked all over the property at the end of my street. We are talking a few acres that were left from a farm, a few houses, a huge barn, a couple of huge parking areas, you got the idea. It would be covered in hot rods like this awesome T. It was right at the bottom of a incline to go over a bridge and these guys would nail it as they went up that incline, it was always a good time around there for a car loving kid.

Frisco, I knew you were good, but did not know you were so famous!!! I really like the green on the T: one of my favorite old car colors. Do you know Ulyss of Indy Rod Shop, located a few miles from us on Upper Hominey Creek in Canton? His shop truck is a 29 A pickup in the same color with black fenders. He won best paint in NSRASE show in Knoxville a couple of years ago. His wife had been fussing about his choice of colors until that happened.

Glad you and Nick got together after all these years.
