Angry My 231ci Makes Noise When I Accelerate

I have a 76 Buick skylark with a 231 from a 84 Grandprix.
When i'm at a stop, i press on the gas hard (Imagine you want to burn rubber) it makes a noise in that moment. If i let go of the gas the noise stops. It doesn't make that noise while the car is running over 15mph.

Only when i press it hard. If i start off pressing the gas normally (like a 70 year old person) it doesn't make that noise. It sounds just like if you would stick your hand or a stick while a metal fan is on in your house.

I checked if nothing hits on the top , front, sides of the engine and i believe it is on the inside.
Ive never taken the car to a mechanic. I have this car since august. If anyone knows, can you please help me?

!Oh Yeah!
If i do the same thing in reverse it doesn't make the metal scrapping noise!

You can hear the noise in the engine. (the center front) it sounds like how i said. Imagine you hit a turning fan with a stick. But harder. Like a metal fan.

I'm not sure if its were the transmission is but it sounds right on the center of the engine.

Spark Knock

Sounds like a little spark knock to me, which the early 231 was good at, and it will destroy the engine sooner or later. Aaahh, those early 231s, they ran like crap, and would kick back and run backwards for a second when you shut them off. We've came a long way baby!!!!!!!

Oh Yeah my 231 for being stock if it didnt have that little defect it whoops ***. Not bragging or anything. I also have a 231 in my 81 century and runs good. They are family type cars

If it is spark knock (pinging), you timing is too far advanced. Set it back until the noise stops.

Also, try higher grade gas.

I agree with Poncho, check your timing, my one car did that, only on take off, like a whole lot of metal beer tops in a bottle.
