Post my 302 again

Can some explain to me the process of timing my 302

make sure the # 1 piston is at top dead center. then you should have your roter pointing right at the #1 sparkplug wire on the cap.... make sure when the piston is at TDC (Top Dead Center) that it isnt a 180 degrees out... or it will try to fire with the valve open bad deal if your running a holly... both vales should be closed this is your power stroke. good luck
