1936 truck build
I have a 1939 chevy cab and bed on the original frame. It has a 1938 ford grille shell and grille where I can run it without a hood. The cab and bed is channeled down over the frame, the bed isn't shortened but I wish it was. The motor is a four bolt main 350 with a 350 transmission. It has a polished Edelbrock intake and a vintage Carter AFB Competition Plus carb that adjusts and work beautifully, topped off with a Hilburn type scoop air cleaner. The chrome headers run out and down to the front of the doors and I run them open all of the time. Most everyone calls it a rat rod because I painted it hotrod primer but with no patino, it has a Mustang rack, electric radiator fan, tilt wheel, a smooth leather on the seat with grey carpet, and front disc breaks. The wheels are 6" and 10" red steelies with stainless moon caps. There are no large rusted holes or patino or mexican blankets. I don't have anything against rat rods, but it ain't no rat rod, oh yeah it has red fading to orange fading to yellow flames. It probably has around 330 hp and I am guessing it weighs sround 1600 lbs and it runs pretty strong. I have a 20,000 mile corvette, a 03 SSsilverado truck that I set a landspeed record in Oct. at the Maxton Mile in, and a 1969 Indy pace car convertible in my shop but I enjoy driving the 37 every day. Qh yeah I hung a vintage Sun tach in the top left corner of the windshield. I spent over two hours trying to post pictures of all of my rides this morning without success so I gave a verble pic. I love the roof lines of these model trucks and they make great hotrods, good luck with yours.

I have had three family members in for a total of over 8 hrs. trying to post pictures of four rides in my shop. Martinsr sent detailed instructions on how to post pictures and we followed them to the letter. We will keep trying, I would like you to see pictures of my 39 truck it's pretty neat and a lot of fun to drive.

Thanks poncho62, not a bad picture even if I did take it myself. We also sent a picture of my corvette, did you get it and did you post it else where? I promise we or they have tried every thing with no success. Would you mind if I sent you a few more pictures, let me know and where you would place them

My 36 chevy truck build
We have blastoff 1936Mopar, we emailed a picture of my hotrod to Poncho62 in Canada and then he posted it without a problem. Its the space age so I guess it works. I hope we can get the problem figured out because I want to post pictures of my SS Siverado, land speed record holding truck, the camaro and the corvette. My best friend owns a hotrod shop and builds street rods, camaros, install headers, vintage air etc. I walked into his shop a few days ago and he was working on two beautiful 1957 chevys. I had my camera and snapped a great shot that I would like to share.

Some of you probably didn't believe me
We finally got it right and I have a new thread with pictures of my cars. One of my two son in laws is plant manager of a very large industrial wire plant and sends hundreds of emails all over the world every week. He spent four hours to night figuring out how to post pictures on my computer and part of the problem was the pictures were too large. Anyway I feel better now that you can see I really do have a shop and cars. Next Iwould like to be able to posts some of my Nascar pictures from ten years of being in the garage area and in the pits during races. The new year is already with us so now I wish you all Happy Year. Garrell

My 36 chevy truck build
I don't know the official name of them, but how about the old , little ,half round roof, very short two person sleeping camper? Paint the wheels and trim to match the truck. I would love to have an old 1950 to 1960's rusty motorcycle to haul standing up on back of my truck. I had just as soon it did't run but would hold air in the tires.
