My 83 truck all of the sudden will not idle
I have an 83 GMC with a SBC 355, 600 edelbrock carb, and cheapo electronic fuel pump from advanced. Fire her up one day and it idles and runs like a champ. Then I start it the next day and now it will not idle. I thought the idle circuit may be clogged so I switch it out to another 600 edelbrock... still no idle. I shut it off and start it again and it idled perfect... until I started driving. I pulled the fuel line off the carb and put it in a 20 ounce bottle. It filled it in 7-10 seconds.
Any ideas?

Did you check for loose or rotted vacuum lines?
Have you recentlly filled the gas tank? Did you check to see if timing is correct?

I took the filter off and blew it out. I didnt feel any resistance but its running fine now..
