My A that aint no mo.

I gave 4 grand for the body of the rumble seat 29 A roadster and went to the bank, took out a loan got her home, mind now ,the body, got out some tarps had hersat on some 2 by 4s got sick and solld her back to the same dude for 18.Think I lost my mind?Yep I definately got sick. The garage was too fullto have her put inside and I could not live with her on the outside.I got really ill again this time no hospital though .Last year was enough guess ole moon is gonna give er up far as building again.Got a Hemi took apart I will sell.Day after I sold the roadster a bud in michigan offered 55.My luck gets wose than my health.Never even took pics of it and I am glad I did not.Hated to lose on the deal but I have lost on alot in my life.So heres to any of us that sold our 57s or our gtos or our 69zs.I had a 32 full fender rodster in 56 so I got a good memory anyway.I am getting better. Thanks for the thoughts guys.

I hate that things did not work out for you Moontanker. I will be 68 my next birthday and can not help but wonder how long I will have the interest or ability to do this stuff. Maybe you can find a good driver that you will enjoy driving to the cruises. 75% of this hobby is the friends and social aspects anyway. My advise would be to enjoy your friends and do not quit enjoying each day the good Lord gives you. The car is not important. Relationships are.

Great to hear from you Moontanker...
Remember these two things..
''it's not about the destination it's about the journey''
''yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery''

You never know what tomorrow will bring your way..
Keep your faith and keep your head up..

Mr.John is right about what he said..Take care of yourself and don't give up...

We've all been there MT. I all but gave away a half dozen choice shoeboxes when I was forced to close the 'yard years ago. All were 2-door and only one was a '56, the rest were '55s (3) and '57s (2).

Don't spend another minute letting it bother you. Something good is right around the corner...

Good luck.
