good first project

the good thing about that car is, you can do whatever you want to it and not hurt the value.
i would just go crazy with it.
do you have a welder? i would go to the junk yard and see what you can make work on it.
maybe a different grill??? weld up the rear doors??? cut the top off???

anything

Too bad but strip all the trim off and it would be "almost" as good....

As long as it's not running, access to the back seat is all you need.

Nice ride Sway. Don't give up on her.

I looked around but I haven't found any place you've given much detail on what you intend for your ride.
Why are you welding the doors? Planning to race it?
I gather you're going to do some serious customizing. Have you decided what, exactly? (when you said you were welding the back doors I got this picture of a 'Rum Runners Special' in my head)

I remember a guy around here who welded the back doors of a late 50s Plymouth with the big fins.......Only thing was, he didn't remove the door handles on the outside. That really looked sharp...........................

Yes im welding the back doors and takeing all the doorhandles off.
Im useing solinoids from a areostar van back hatch to open them.
My dad drew up some plans for this.
Worked on getting front doors open today. But no luck yet.
I got some crager rims and tires from Dad.
13x6 front and 15xL60 rear.
