Dont have a place as nice as that...but getting away from the city is great. Is he setting up some sort of business....or just playing?

Great looking garage but I really wonder about putting the major fabrication tools, like the drill press, down stairs. The convenience factor would be a major drawback for me at least. Sometimes my tools seem scattered too far away when I only have to walk 5-6 steps to get to them. I could be wrong but I bet over time a number of those tools find their way back up to the main level. Now the "office" up there on the lookout level...that's just pure decadence. And I want one.

Dewey, how do you keep forgetting about the white stuff that covers that view the other 8 1/2 months of the year?
In a while, Chet. |

Nice place to visit...but I had enough of snow in 5 years to last me a lifetime.
I live in So. Cal (originally from here) and there is no place like it. An hours drive from the Mountains...15-20 minutes from the Ocean...Hours drive from the Desert. When I want see snow I drive up for the day or weekend. But I can appreciate where you live and I think it is so peaceful and awesome and those are some cool pics. The Sirreas are one of the Most beautiful places in Northern Cal. That garage is so cool, anyone would be jealous of that except...Jay Leno.

Nice shop... I keep looking at the metal building advertisements in our Electric Cooperative magazine every month and keep thinking of how nice it would be to have the space. I have the land out back so I'll have to seriously look into it.

Mine is a 7 car shop with 10 year lease for 1 dollar per year. I do have to pay the utilities though.
THANKS DAD!Anyone got a dollar I could borrow? I'll have to take some pics and post them. |

#1. Sit there and look pretty #2. Make other women jealous. Even women have more functions/uses that that! Yeah Martin, with your knowledge, skills, and experience, I'd say it was time to get out of there and get a place of your own. How many acres did you say brother has? I wonder if he can put another house on there ![]() Of course California is getting pretty expensive AND restrictive. Might need to look elsewhere. I wish I was in a position to go into business with you. Steve |
