my sister has an 89 camaro with the 2.8l v6. the other nite it died on her and im tryin to get it started, and it kinda starts to start but then dies right away. the gas tank is kinda low, like an 1/8 of a tank, but i dont think that would b a problem. umm...im totally stumped on this problem. maybe injectors?? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

I would assume that the trans and rear end are working just fine, so it shouldn't need to be in this category. other than that i would see if it has spark and fuel. try pushing on the fuel pressure shrader valve and see if fuel comes out. if so you could rule out a bad fuel pump. the next easiest thing would be to a plug and see if you have spark. do those 2 tests and that will give people a start to try to help you diagnose where to go from there.

Try some more gas in the tank.
In tank fuel pumps use gas for cooling and if she is in the habit of running with a low level the pump could be burnt out.
