My Chevelle update

Thought I would update anybody that cares on my 72 chevelle. Got the 434 sbc setting down in it, 12 bolt is done and under the car. Msd ign is installed, 6AL2. My alum rad is on it's way, I think by a 1 armed guy in a row boat, as long as it's taking. Got my converter and the 350 turbo is done and ready to go in. Some small stuff and more money is all thats needed now. Trying to decide on which headers, have 230 dart angle plugs and I don't need plug and wire problems. Friend of mine was over and we're done discussing some cruzin ideas when spring comes. He has several cars, his newest is a 37 ply business coupe. Anybody else out there making any progress?

I use Jere Stahl headers. fit well and work well. The sound is good too.I hope you used a decent size SOLID roller to make that 434 sing?

Sorry, I messed up, Dynatech's were 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8's. I used a Bullet cam, mech roller. 640, 627 lift, 252 260 at .050, in on a 106. I have Dart 230 ported heads, 2925 super victor, 950 Holley, Motown block. I'm putting a built 350 turbo, 4000 conv. I'll ck on those headers and see what he's got.

I didn't have no flow figures, I got the heads, blocy, intake, ati balancer, in trade on my 582 BBC off my dragster. I'd used a hurrican intake if I had bought one. The turbo should be fine, I put the Coan intermediate sprag and drum assy in it. Friend of mine done it, he done all my race trans. I wanted to go with a 200R4 but done right by Extreme transmission's, your talking $2000, plus converter. You don't have a set of headers do you? Got to get them next. Put the trans in today, slow but sure.
