My chevrolet 1971 with 454

I was wondering what the best performance spark plugs I should install to maximize my power and running performance.

Thank in advance, Tim. (Old muscle car lover)

I use AC Delco R44TX in my 454.

Don't waste your money on fancy high tech spark plugs.

There are plenty of other things to waste money on.

I like Autolite copper core non resistor the heat range depends on your engines running needs. But there are many good plugs that fall into this category

Originally it used a R44T spark plug. If the compression is over 11.0 use a colder plug. If running dome pistons watch running a R44TS, S is for extended tip. X is for wider gap and didn't come into play until 1975.
