I think your combo is well balanced for mid-range power . The only thing that I think that needs improvement (IMO) is the exhaust and maybe a 2000 rpm stall converter ?. Shorty headers look cool but don't flow much better than stock manifolds. I'd put a proper set of headers on it and "X" pipe hooked up to your dual exhaust. But it's something that you could change later.

For the headers, with the Automatic transmission in an F-body car there is no room to run dual exhaust. It's also been tested that the single 3" only flows 5cfm or so less than a dual 2.5". Now, if I had a manual transmission there would be room and I would definitely run dual exhaust.
