When you hit the Reply to Post icon, use the Manage Attachment prompt below the Reply to Thread box.
I think a jpg need to be 300KB or less to attach. Don't know about sizes on the others.
These are the valid file extensions: bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg pdf png psd txt zip.
