I know I need some practice with kandy but you gotta start somewhere. I think my spray gun was a part of the problem though.

THis car is gonna be set up with hydraulics. 3 pumps 2 to the front 1 to the butt.

THe door jambs, under the hood, under the trunk, in the trunk, the dash, the sterring column, and uhh... Alot of pieces were sprayed

Ima get some final pictures in the sun once its together cut and buffed.

Dude Start A Journal!

It's easier for everybody to see,and quicker for us (me)with that lightning fast dial up to see the pics...I really like to see how it turns out seeing how I'm about to paint my 69 Impala. The color and type(Kandy,pearl.flip-flop,bowling ball with flip-flop flames)for mine are so far undecided.

All the materials roughly cost about 600 bucks. The amount of work it took though was killer but im down for it.

Ill get more pictures of it in the sun. Ill be wet-sanding and buffing soon.

We used a cream .. Its like a GM cream tan color for the roof. THen we used a orion silver for the body. If anyone wants paint codes and everything pm me.

Thanks for the complements,
Chris

Chris,

Your looking like a pro. Great job!

Damn chris Great first candy job
You've realy come a long way in a short period of time.........Keep up the good work homie

And I think your right........you'r only prob. might be your gun's spray pattern, get it fixed, or get a new gun, and you'll be shooting candy like if it were 2nd nature

At sometimes it seems that way. Its hard for meto quote people prices and stuff like that. Like..... Im gonna be doing body-work on a ride for $1800

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4536370514&catego ry=39405

It is like the one in the link but not painted with ALOT of body-work

Its gonna take me about 1 full month to complete. 500 in materials 500 for a buddy of mine for letting me use his garage. 800 for me.... Its hard to say....

Thanks for the complements,
Chris
