Post My Flywheel, can i polish it up to make it better?

Would it help to run something like emry cloth over it to clean it up real good, i dunno if this would help anything at all...prolly a dumb Q

Is your trans a manual? If it is I think if it is smooth and had the residue from the emry cloth on it then your clutch could slip a bit. But remember I am mentally retarted Steve

If the flywheel is for a standard shift trans and is not a flex plate it can be cleaned up the way you asked about. If it has slight heat cracks and/or is not flat, it should be resurfaced. If it is badly discolored (Blue) from heat or the heat cracks are deep, it is best to replace it.
