my friend's body is a star. a shooting star

my friends body was on American Hot Rodder last night. he works and is the main man at Rod Bods in Sparks Nevada. we used to hang out at Accent Auto Body with our little "Get a Life, Club" we were all single. he Chris Poole, and the owner of accent Al, are both from New Zealand and in their 30's. they split the sheets and chris went to rod bods down the street. these are the guys who are jouneymen panel pounders and have no use for bondo. they make awesome all steel 32 roadsters. Boyd Coddington had one of his bodies they were putting together the other night. he had a different rear end and had to make a floor for this body to fit it. i guess they must have ordered the car w/o a floor. anyway, while they are measureing and making a template for the 32, they say that the car is off by an inch and a half from one side to the other. D'Ohhhh!!! oh well, it's great he had the name of his shop on tv. not so great that the body is an inch out of square

Bull,

Glad your friend made the show. Sure hope they didn't voice the difference too much. I'm sure that other bodies have small flaws also.

i'm sure part of the problem was they probably made rod bods spit it out at the last minute in half the time like always. that coddington is the worlds biggest ******. they made a template, so i don't know how it would have mattered what shape it was. i give the guys in his shop alot of credit. but boyd is a noyd. he has a wife that works in the shop as well as his ex so he really likes stress apparently
