My hotrod was at SEMA

Factory Five liked some of the things I did building one of thier kits and brought it out to SEMA last week as one of their display cars. I went with my son and we had a great time. I felt kind of funny that it was there as there were a lot of nice cars Factory Five could have chosen from so it was quite an honor and privilege. To top it off, it was actually outside at the Ford outdoor area. It was a great experiance and met a lot of cool people. Probably never happen again so I just soaked it all up.

I was in the only spot at the entire show you could get this picture.

Sure does. I was more wondering about the injection part... Arrowhead's yellow rod was the one I couldn't remember the other day when the thread was talking about the nice rods here. This one looks good, too- but I think I like the yellow one as much.

congtats. on such an honor, the coverage of the sema show in magazines and on tv amazes me. don't know the age of your son but most young boys and girls are more interested in the stereo system in there honda or toyota car than hp, handling, etc. so i hope such an experience will keep him a rodder forever. great picture too, are you sure you did not sit in line for hours to park and get the shot? garrell patterson, hotrodtruck

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Seems like my hot rod really struck a chord with Factory Five. They not only brought it to SEMA, but had a photo shoot done in the Nevada desert. THEN they asked if it would be ok to send it on tour with World of Wheels!!!. I was on display in Houston over the Thanksgiving weekend and it has nine more stops and then will come home in April.

Hope you guys don't think I'm bragging, just sharing with what been going on. After all, I learned a lot from you guys on this board to get to this point in the first place.

It's come a long way from all those boxes stacked in your garage/shop George. Show us more when you get a chance.
