My key won't come out!
I have a 77 Camaro with tilt steering. Key all of a sudden won't come out. In the past, I would have to twist the back of the steering column to the left or "park" position. Any ideas of how to get it out? Can I get rid of the locking mechanism? Thanks as always...

Sometimes with my truck that I used to have if it werent in park completely then the key wouldn't come out.

Might need to adjust the back-drive linkage. Adjust it so it pushes the collar farther toward the counter-clockwise direction.
