Yes Cole, I can see where it looks some what like a 51 chevy but twice as long. I am going to try my best to get it with what I feel would be a more then fair price. Talking about 1951 I am picking one up next week. A fellow I know wanted to sell it to me last year and I looked at it. It is a 1951 ford truck and he has all the chrome redone and the truck is now completely a part. He has about $4.000 in it not counting a running 327 with double hump heads and a muncie. The price last year was $5.000. He stopped to see me a couple of weeks ago and said his mother wanted the truck out of her garage and he has gotten married and lost interest in the truck. Wanted to know If I would give him a $1.000. I could not say no.

That is really a nice ride. It looks like it is even the same color as the one I am looking at. Do you have more pictures?

Well guy I don't have to wait till Friday to get a price from the seller of the 1946 Pontiac. I had to go over two his place today to cut some trees for him and he decided to hold on to it a bit longer. He said he is the second owner of the car and he is kind of attached to it. I did make a offer of $10.000 but he declined my offer. He did say that since I have been helping him around his farm that if anything happen to him, ( I hope it never does for he is a great guy) That his wife will be instructed to offer it to me first at less then half of my offer. So it looks like the 1946 Pontiac is not coming to my home anytime some.

Glad you got the car but I hope the old guy is still OK. Love to see pics. Earlier you mentioned they quit making them in '41 but most made cars until early '42, my car is a '42 Chevy and the '46 is similar mainly a different grille. I love the fastback GM cars but I am biased.
