my mistakes

hello, tried my first practice bench seat, split back, after i finished covering the seat i could see my mistakes, wrong measures, and more the toughest sewing was the split back sides, i didn't use any foam backing on patterns, and was wondering, can you sew the sides when you use 1/2 inch scrim backing. thank you for replies

1/2" or 1/4" sew foam under the leather would be fine.

I don't have any pictures of the sewing process, just the finished product. These have 1/4" sew foam under the top of the bottom seat and the front of the seat backs.
