Thank you Em, you are a true brother and a friend, this tat has very special meaning to me and i know to all the others that feel like i do. and i know with all my heart that all the fallen feel my love for them as well.

thats a dang nice tribute to our fallen troops. never forget !after all, they gave the surpreme price for us all. there is no better protection in the world than an american soldier.

Hi,im a retired SFC E-7 US Army, 2 tour, Disabled Vietnam Vet,(agent orange) i dont have any tats,but,i do say a prayer for my Fallen buddies everyday, All 55,000 of them...and also for our recently departed Iraq and Afghanistan brothers...

My Wife just recently lost her Brother in Law from exposure to Agent Orange in Nam.

Viet Nam Vet also......67-68 Sp/5 bulldozer driver, knocked down a lot of charlies jungle. Not a fan of tatoo's but if you're going to fly one then that is a helluva tribute to the guys that didn't make it back to the world.......Dave

hi,i first went to Vietnam,before anyone ever heard of it,it was June of 1958,i was stationed in Japan,at an ammo depot,i escorted a LST loaded with ammo,to the Vietnamese govt.one of the hardest trips ive ever been on,that LST had a flat bottom,and it pounded all the way there,i was a SP-3 (that was the same rank as a SP-4 now)i was assigned to the American embassy in Saigon,but worked as an ammo inspector at (later named LONG BINH) made Sgt E-5 there.then rotated back to the states (for discharge) re-enlisted 7 months later as a sp-3 (again)then my Vietnam tours started in nov 1966,then back in 1968.i was stationed in Plekiu. welcome home brother....

Excellant tat Cole.
My family has a long history. My great great grandfather served in the civil war. I found his name on the rosters.
My grandfather served in world war II, he was at the battle of the bulge.
At the bulge he was captured by the Germans twice, but both times managed to escape and evade.
He also served in Korea. He was decorated greatly for his service.
He retired a master sgt. with 28 years.
My uncle John served in Vietnam with the marines, he arrived in '65 and left in '66. He was supposed to be a sniper, but was instead made RTO.
My father put 32 years in the military, and retired a master sgt.
He came hair line close to going to Vietnam, but at the last minute the orders for his unit was changed and instead he was sent to Okinowa Japan.
He did serve in desert storm however.
I myself wanted to get in the service, but since I was diagnosed with scholiosis when I was 11 which is a curvature of the spine and it went on my medical record. They told me then due to having it I could never serve in the military.
