Really a Sweet Ride!!!!!!!!
Any idea who did the flames on the truck?
It's sitting just right and the color really sets the whole truck off and makes it stand out. Is the engine an 8 1/2 to one engine or a 9 to one engine? What type of gas do you have to run with it? One word of advice do not go fast around any corners with the those tires or you may end up on your head. Very cool for sure. Jimbo |

Thanks All I'm loving this thing so much I cant tell you
(but there's no doubt in my mind I'm going to get arrested in it )Paint is Victory Red, Graphics by Airbrush Artist “XTRAORDINAIR" (Grand Rapids Michigan). Jack the former owner bought a Brand New 502 Crate Motor from Good GMC (Clyde Park Wyoming Michigan) then gave it to Dick @ More Power (Sparta Michigan) and it was purpose built for the 871. In the end the completed motor & supercharger cost him 25K and it was built to handle 1000 HP (made a little over 700 HP N/A on the engine stand (WITHOUT the 871 Blower). I believe they started with a 502 HO Gen VI Motor which is 8.75 and the 871 is underdriven -5.5 (56 T Upper Pulley 52T Lower Pulley). This gives you 8lbs of Boost but with the big *** ported rec heads I have a little less which is good. At 8lbs it yields you the equivalent of 13.1 on the Final Compression Ratio Chart which is a tad to much because you shouldn't go over 12.4 on 93 Octane. This is the 7th Supercharged Vehicle I've owned so I am very familiar and educated on detonation (and how fast it can take a motor out, been there done that ) Thankfully with the big flowing heads and exhaust the boost down to 6-7 and so far it runs great on 93 and I have no issues (other than having to shut it off in gear ) It's never been to the track and has only run on 93 Octane since birth. Now that it's mine I plan on running higher octane and eventually will get to the track (but only after enough seat time and confidence in it). THANKS AGAIN ALL PS Jimbo Oh ya I learned all about those turns with my old Nova & Ranger (he use to run skinnys, now it has 28 x 7.5's which help) My Old Nova & Ranger had Skinnys ![]()
