What year is your Chevy? Are you the original owner? I'm asking because dependent on age and ownership there may be warrenty on your vehicle. If the paint is peeling I would recommend stripping the car down to bare metal, even where the paint looks good today. You just don't know when the paint that looks good today is going to let go underneath your freshly painted Chevy.
