My progress

What do you guys think? from this

To this? Getting there,

This was my nephews fathers car that passed away 2 years ago at Christmas. My nephew stopped by yesterday and I took him for a cruise, it was awsome. He was so happy I could see it in his face. He has not ridden in this car since he was 8 years old back in 1990. I just cant explain how good it felt when he told me how happy he was that I have the car. He knew that I wouldnt just let the car sit and rot. I know its not perfect but its a great start. The car is at the point right now where it can be driven anywhere. So anyway, thats where Im at.

I wonder who of you two had the biggest grin on their face running down the road in the rod.

Looking great, whats next in the build?

Thanks for the compliments. Its far from done by any means. I need to start working on the interior and cleaning up the engine bay a little more. I was surprised when I took it to the local cruise spot and people asked me to open the hood. I said, "Its nothing special just a straight six." To my surprise the reaction was , "well everybody drops small blocks in them its nice to see something different." I started thinking, yeah it is pretty cool maybe I will do a double or triple carb set up with a tube header, Who knows. Its been a fun project. The best part is the small amout of cash to get it to this point. Everytime I needed a part I would just look through the boxes.

Multi carb setup would be great. So would an old timey split exhaust manifold and duals.

Here is a site that deals with inline motors:
