My project chevy.....

I have an old 75 1/2 ton full size pick up, and put a 427 tall deck in it and was wondering if I changed the cam in it what can I expect....It came out of a big boom truck weighing 44k....Max rpm now is about 3k, so tell me what you would do...

A cam will wake it up.dont go crazy,the heads are poor too

A stroker tall deck is a monster torquer with good heads.

A better cam should help, just don't go too radical.
