My ride is SO LOW...

My ride is SO LOW ...

How low is it you ask?

My ride is so low that every minor pothole I hit threatens to rip the oil pan out from under my car.

I'm looking into replacing it soon because there are already many patched cracks and they still seep oil.

Any suggestions on what to replace it with and how to protect it? It's a 283 Chevy Small Block. I'm not looking for chrome, just protection.

Raise it up or add a skid plate.

Demand that the city fix all the roads or you'll sue!!
Raise your car to the minimum that most states have mandated so you don't impeed traffic just trying to go to the corner market.
Maybe a couple of swivel casters welded to the pan might work.
Raise the engine will fix it too.
