1.6 crane roller rocker question

hey guys can anyone tell me if this is normal or buy new ones.i have the crane energizer 1.6 roller rockers and when i was adjusting lash(solid lift cam) i noticed that they have some slack where the fulcrum and needle bearings are. i had a set of harlond sharps on another motor and they were tight, should i go ahead and buy some more of the harlands because they were damn good rockers. but if i dont have too buy new ones it would b nice!! also i will b putting my new stud girdles on at the same time.

Are the Cranes new or used? You're not putting 7/16 rockers on 3/8 studs?

are my roller rockers shot??

got a set of 1.60 crane energizer roller rockers with slack in the fulcrum and needle bearings, for example like a front wheel on a bicycle when the bearing is worn.is this normal or should i buy some new ones, its a 532/555 solid mech comp.and yes i have the right screw in studs; its all 3/8. i sure would hate too trash this motor cause i got alot of time and money in it.ive just never seen a set do this before,my buddy says its ok cause once you adj them all the pressure will be on the bottom side of fulcrum, i think otherwise, wouldnt u rather them not having that slack so their wont be any walking of the roller tip on the valve because thats what it seems its doing too me??!!

eventually the bearing needles will come out. Before that though the body will gall when the bearing race spins around the bore.

You might get the manufacture to replace just the bearings. Worth a call I guess but probably a long shot.

You might get a new bearing from a power and transmission locally. take a old bearing with you so they can measure the dimensions.

On second though, probably;y best just to get a new set.

Time for new ones.

Because of the back and forth action of the roller in the rockerarm, they don;t last forever.
