Me too I think it matches the front fenders better. I may go this route if i can ever find a cab/frontclip that some one will part with,I know where there is a ford bed of that era at also. Drop em on an s-10 frame find some Chevrolet tailgate script drop in a 4.8 or 5.3 ls engine and a 5 or 6 speed
possibly add the center recess of a dakota hood to the chevy's
