Pretty much.

There was that one incident with rtv sealer and the fuel gauge sending unit combined with a fuel filter element that wasn't seated properly...... once I got the blue crap cleaned out of the carb and rest of the fuel system, all has been fine.

I do wish I had air conditioning at times.

Truck still runs decent even with the smaller cam and carb.

It ran a best of 8.74@72 mph in the 1/8 mile at the Dixie Dragfest. I couldn't leave at anything above idle or else it would blow the tires away.

I'd be curious to see what it would run on slicks mounted on 15 wheels.

Took it to the NHRA Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green, KY. It was freakin' hot!

Oh yeah, it looks like I finally figured out why the truck was getting crappy gas mileage. The big chrome fuel pump was pushing gas past the needle and seat. I put a stock fuel pump on the truck and my gas mileage jumped from around 8 mpg to 15!

I don't think I will get much more out of it with 20's and the overall aerodynamics of this truck.

...over 5,500 miles on the truck.

I've seen this truck multiple places (on the net) and I think it is simply awesome! Very nice work.

Went to another Frog Follies (3rd year with the truck). It was a great show.

Truck now has over 6,600 miles on it.

It puts a big smile on my face too.

Too bad the pictures don't have sound. The 3 1/2" exhaust with flowmaster sprintcar mufflers is the icing on the cake.

After all is said and done...keeping the dirt and grime on the firewall was kinda dumb...and a big hassle.

Truck rides like an S-10. Its great.
