Question, are you gonna leave the patina finish on it? Looks good as is.
Yeah, the Rust is staying. The truck is too far gone to paint.

Looks great! I put a 51 AD suburban on a s-10 a few years ago for somebody. Came out nice but the guy never finished it and I lost track of it. It was on air with twenties up front and twenty twos out back. Tim

Sounds neat. Did you take any pictures of it before the customer picked it up?

nice build. I'm putting a 47 chevy on an s-10. One question- are you running spacers or anything on the front? I'd rather not and yours looks pretty good of you arn't.

nice truck. Me and dad have a 48 chevy 3/4 ton wrecker we are thinking of putting on an S-10 frame with a sbc auto, and flatbed. I was showing this thread to my dad and he wondered what kind of car was on the trailer with a tarp on it

No wheel spacers. The front is stock 91 S-10 width. The rear is stock 79 camaro width.

That would be a 1974 VW bug. It has been lowered quite a bit ...has a 5.5" narrowed beam, drop spindles, and disc brakes on the front....the rear has flipped trailing arms (to correct the camber) and has been dropped 2 outer splines.

The finished product is gonna look like it does now on the outside.....other than new glass and seals. The interior is getting more work done (carpet, door panels, more paint, headliner).
