My set-up

I know you guys see these posts a lot but I couldn't resist

I just started building my first car, a 1982 olds cutlass.

I just wanted to know what you guys think of my engine set-up and how much HP it will make(i know you can only quess but oh well)

350 from a 72 monte(casting number 3971001 I think)

Stock heads(dipped and milled and a valve job)

Comp Extreme Energy cam - 268/280 Advanced Duration, .477/.480 lift, 1600-5800 RPM range.

Edelbrock Performer RPM intake

Holley 600 vacuum sec carb

Cloyes double roller timing chain set

Headers

I guess it dont sound bad to as far as i know, but just curis about how that cam sounds at an idle because i was gonna get that one my self.

Couldn't tell ya just yet, it aint running lol

I'm still working on it, today i'm going to set the Carb on and install the starter.

Yea i've called Summit before, and it seem's that you get 10 different answer's from 10 different tech guy's, but that EX268 Comp cam is often recemended because it is one of the most populer cam's sold thru them, but if you want some good cam advice talk to old man Elgin at Elgin Cam's he seem's to come from an old school perspective, or you can fill out the recamendation form on the web site.
