Question mystery power/ 350 chev

I would like help from any one with a desk top dyno or a similar engine. it will assit me greatly in assembling my engine. I would like to know how much horse power/torque this combo may produce.
Here goes, Standard 350 chev block, 9:5:1 pistons. 64cc/1.94 intake/ 1.60 exhaust heads with gasket matched ports. roughly .488 to .498 lift cam, performer intake.
1 5/8 primary tube headers with 3 in.collectors.
600 vaccum secondary holley. H.E.I ignition and 8.5 mm wires. this is what i would like to use, I just would like to know if it is a winning combo. thanks.

Well I don't have a dyno, but you also asked for similar engine. I'm running very close to what you have in my 302 Ford. My cams only .471 lift and I'm running a Mallory dual point, Edelbrock Performer manifold, and a Holley 600 c.f.m electric choke/vac. secondaries carb. It's a great set-up for a stock auto trans and rear. She idles good in traffic and doesn't need to tach out to produce a lot of usable power. Sounds like a good set-up to me but everyone's different.

its showing about 350hp@5500 and 380 peak torque around 4250

Thanks for the response guys, any tips, or tunning tricks to boost the numbers, different carbs etc. Budget oriented though. This would also be appriciated. Thanks again.

there's always things you can do to increase your engines numbers but keep this in mind- if your engine produces 400h.p. but it doesn't produce it 'till you're at 5,800r.p.m. unless you drive around in second gear or have a 4.88 posi. you're not going to see that 400 horse all the time. Before you go looking into tunnel rams,monster cams and carbs, study some powerband graphs and see where you want your h.p. and torque. I bet the set-up you described would make a great streetable engine.

I ran the combination in my dyno program. I got 377 ft-lb and 334 hp. Also caution, flat top pistons with 64cc heads with a 350 get compression ratio to 11:1. Also a bigger carb will 'wake up' the horsepower in the upper rpm.

Question

Thanks for the tips guys(I love this site.)You said a bigger carb, would a spread bore holley 750 double pumper do the trick? I just so happen to have one. I can't afford the computer dyno stuff
(it all goes to the engine for now)I hate to ask but could you run some different combos for me and see what you come up with? If so that would be great.If not you've been a great help already.

I brought the compression ratio back down by bringing the chamber cc to almost 70 (CR now just under 10). I went to a solid lift cam and a single plane intake. HP now 392 and TQ at 356. You may not want to loose the drivability by going single plane though. This was with a 750 cfm Holley.

All the above is nice to make HP, but will definately affect drivability.

This is going to be a daily driver and weekend fun on accasion, but rarely. will the origional setup be best, is the cam to radical? thankyou for running the other set up too, it gave me some ideas. what does it take to run a solid lift cam.
