Nairb's Movie Capsule-- Signs

Well, we went to the video store, and the wife picked out Mel Gibson in "Signs"

Let me just say that this was truly one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I really couldn't believe that a talent like Mel Gibson would associate himself with such lameness.

The story starts out with a rural family whispering to one another in melancholy tones as they lament the loss of their mother in a tragic accident. Then there is the little issue of "crop circles" in their corn, and somehow this all ties into a 7 foot green alien messing about the farm.

I spent most of the time fast forwarding the DVD to get to the good parts, and the best part was removing the DVD and taking it back to the video store.

The movie made no sense to me, the acting was horrid, and the story line was, quite frankly, retarded.

2 thumbs up where the sun don't shine!!!!---DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, EVEN IF IT'S ON THE BARGAIN SHELF.

BAD SANTA

I did watch Bad Santa, and I will say it was very crude but funny. Please don't tell my mom.
