You i think maybe onto something here. I bought brand new 2" brake shoes for the rear. I just picked up A new drum...stuck it on there, Numbers called for ,and this Drum has 2-1/2" wide . track for the shoes to ride in. So i called him back at, oreileys. He doesn't know whats going on over the phone. But heres what happened yesterday .This 70 Mustang 9" rear Another autoparts ordered shoes for this rear. And they were only 1-1/2" wide ---drum was for this width shoe.I can't seem to get it right . 2"shoe 2" drum ????any help is really appreciated bob s

ps i need 2" shoes which i have. Do they make 2" drums for these shoes . Surely the "drum shoe track" must fit the shoe ??

In the event of a 2 inch spring I would just make a pair out of 2x4 3/16 square tube. Little bit of fabrication..
