this is what blew in my tranny, what exactly is it?

not from a 350 but 4l60- 4l60 e tranny input drum splines bad from reverse input drum clutch plates, was the stator bearing bad? bearing between drums, rollers from bearing keep reverse input plates on even in all forward gears.

Are you rebuilding the trans yourself? If so, how much experience do you have with rebuilding 'em?

Considering tackling mine, but I'm skeered.

I agree with Airworld2 about the dribble shaft being misaligned with the centrist connect bearing. Seems like the logical answer!

Cool lots of fun

Since the poster does not know he has parts from a 700/4L60 type of tranny......... I would suggest that he does not rebuild his own tranny

yeah, theres no way in hell I'd even try to tear one down, let alone rebuild one, I just wanted that part to add to my collection of f-up's
