Narrowing 9" housing, axles; this is a Good price?

Hello.
Got a well known local whos specialty is narrowing rear ends.
contacted him about my trike build and turns out that he has several complete nine inchers lyin around.
he said he will supply the rerar end....cut the housing n narrow it....respling the axles to refit in it and redrill the holes to fit the 6 lug pattern of my rims.
So clear out to the backing plates and cut to my size for 400 bucks!
Im happy bout it. HG

That's an unbelievable price. I paid that much 25 years ago to get it done for my 1963 Impala. If this guys good, go for it.
